The Crested Butte Museum, a facility in Crested Butte Colorado, is place rich in history that allows visitors to explore the coal mining culture in Crested Butte from the early 1880s to the 1950s, along with the rich history of skiing and mountain biking that the Crested Butte area is known for. The museum also features the Betty Spehar Children’s exhibit and a model town and railroad that have been selected as the museum’s most popular exhibit. You’ll even be able to see the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame during your museum visit. In addition to housing some of the most fascinating features of Colorado culture, the Crested Butte Museum hosts a number of events that benefit and strengthen the local community.
The 11th Annual Black and White Ball will be held in Crested Butte on July 2, 2013 at the corner of Elk Avenue and 4th. The Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum is hosting the event, and this is one of their fundraisers for the year. Sponsorships are available, and there are a few sponsorship levels to choose from:

All sponsors will get recognition for their contributions on the poster for the vent, on KBUT radio and in the newspaper. The museum is appreciative to all the sponsors and donators who have shown their support for the 2012 Black & White Ball, including the Crested Butte Mountain Resort, the Alpineer, Box Canyon Hot Springs, Peak Property Management, The New Classics and Montanya Rum Distillery. The Gay & Lesbian Fund gave matching grant to the Black & White Ball of $3000, and the museum is appreciative for the hand these organizations had in raising $1500 to get adequate funding from the Gay and Lesbian Fund.
