Crested Butte Monday Alpenglow Concerts Are Special
Crested Butte Alpenglow Event on Monday Afternoons

It was great to be featured in the Crested Butte News this week – the center of the paper had a photo spread from this week’s Alpenglow Concert!
Alpenglow is a live music concert put on by the Crested Butte Center for the Arts in town at the main park on Mondays in the summer.

Normally families will start setting up with their picnic blankets, chairs, and appetizers/dinner around 5 and the live music starts around 5:30pm.
They also have a weekly food vendor and you can buy beer and wine as well. It used to be okay to bring your own alcohol – but because of the liquor laws they will check your coolers on the way in. The food and beverage money also goes to support the Center for the Arts.
Almost everyone in town goes to this and it’s a very carefree environment to spend with your family.

Since this takes place at the main park in town, the younger kids are occupied with the playground and the teenager crowd will be hanging out in the grassy area passing a Frisbee or playing on the basketball court, so if your trying to meet people your age this is the place to go.
There are also outdoor concerts every Wednesday afternoon/evening in Mt. Crested Butte at the base area near the Red Lady Lift.
