Crested Butte Named “The Best” Colorado Mountain Town

shutterstock_131778551The votes are in for the 2013 Elevation Outdoors “Best Colorado Mountain Towns” contest, and it’s no surprise that Crested Butte took the top spot in multiple categories!  Crested Butte has been named the Best Bike Town, the Best Trail Town, and the Best Dog town.  Here’s a look how Crested Butte sized up in all the categories.

Best Colorado Bike Town

Crested Butte took top honors here, beating out Fruita to be named the best.  Here’s how the category rounds out, with percentage of votes:

  • Salida (8%)

Do you love canoeing, fishing, kayaking, or just hanging out by the water?  Salida claimed the top spot amongst river towns in Colorado, followed closely by Durango.  Here’s a look at the rest of the list:
