Camp 4 Coffee

You haven’t been to Crested Butte if you haven’t been to Camp 4 Coffee. The main location at Elk Ave and 4th Street in downtown Crested Butte, and there is a location in Crested Butte South. They offer a wide selection of coffee! And man is it delicious. It’s actually voted the best Joe in Crested Butte. All the coffee here is roasted by hand and the name of the coffee shop was actually inspired by the mountains! You may notice their coffee shop by their large license plate logo. They sell bags of coffee as well – ground or whole bean, and mugs, and hats… Go check it out!

Rumors Coffee And Tea House

In Downtown Crested Butte, adjacent to Townie Books, you will see Rumors Coffee and Tea House. They offer a wide range of loose leaf teas, coffee, and speciality drinks! You may occasionally see live bands performing in Rumors and even art shows. With being close to Townie Books, it may be nice to grab a coffee and have a relaxing read next door!

Octopus Coffee

Did you know Octopus Coffee first started out as a walk up kiosk and drive thru on Orchard Mesa near Grand Junction? Pretty cool. They opened up in a historic house a couple years back at the end of Elk Avenue. They have many goodies to go along with your coffee and are big about promoting community!

Coffee Lab is located at the base area in Mt. Crested Butte adjacent to the outdoor firepit. It’s definitely a great place to stop for a coffee, especially that all their proceeds help support scientific research at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory! They also have some breakfast goodies – my favorite is the egg and sausage burrito. For more info on this check out their website here.  

 

 

These are just a few of the coffee places here in Crested Butte. I think maybe now I’ll have to do a breakfast blog for some of my favorite breakfast diners/cafes! Enjoy!
