Live in Crested Butte and Shop at the Farmers Market

live in Crested Butte and enjoy produceWhether you live in Crested Butte full time or just sometimes, you still have to get dinner on the table, or at least have a few snacks in the cupboard.  Since you have to go shopping anyway, why not make it fun?

On Saturday, October 19th, head to the Gunnison Farmers Market from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  It will be indoors at the Fred Field Heritage Center in the county fairgrounds at 275 South Spruce Street.  It’s just a few blocks south of Safeway.

Farmers Market a Favorite of Those Who Live in Crested Butte

Meet up some friends who own Crested Butte real estate for a fun Saturday.  Choose from a wide variety of great fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, honey, and more delicious offerings.  Most of the produce comes from the North Fork Valley, but a few vendors offer Gunnison grown food.  You couldn’t get more local unless you were picking produce from your own backyard garden.

Kids who live in Crested Butte will have a good time too.  There are plenty of fun activities for the young ones, as well as many samples of delicious pastries.  You can also enjoy a lunch of wood fired pizza from Innerfire Mobile or the natural brats and dogs on a stick from Colorado Lucky Dogs.  For more information, click here.
