Video Interview Crested Butte Mayor Aaron “Huck” Huckstep

It takes a special person to be the Mayor of Crested Butte Colorado.  Aaron “Huck” Huckstep is such a person. He moved to Crested Butte on May 10, 2008. Huck is the Founder, Huckstep Law, LLC, specializing in business, real estate and land use law; the current Mayor (running for re-election), and Co-founder and committed volunteer of Elk Mountain Events. Both an attorney and a CPA – Huck has the skins on the wall to tackle the tough issues, and the demeanor and a level head to manage the politics to help lead Crested Butte. I have personally hired him for legal work and I have referred Real Estate clients to him and have have glowing recommendations. I have skinned-up with him on cold winter mornings, and competed against him in the Elk Mountain Grand Traverse (Crested Butte to Aspen nordic ski race).  I watched him lobby to bring the USA Pro Cycling Challenge Bike Race to Crested Butte the first 2 years, and have seen him volunteering during numerous events in town.  He is smart, hard working, focused, and the right man for the job.  Huck is running for a second term as Mayor. If I lived in Crested Butte and could cast a vote for him — he would get my vote.
