Video Interview Dan Marshall Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce

The Crested Butte / Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce serves the local business community as well as the visitors to the Crested Butte area.  The Chamber building is conveniently located at “the 4-way” which is at the corner of Elk Avenue & 6th Street.  There is a Visitors Center in the Chamber building with a Chamber staff member there to answer questions, and provide info on all there is to see and do in the Crested Butte area.  Common questions include – where to stay, where to eat, what events are happening in the area, what shopping is available, what recreational activities are in Crested Butte (hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, alpine skiing, nordic skiing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, historical walking tours… and more!

Visitors may also want to visit the Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce website – it has interactive maps, business information, and vacation planners.

Dan Marshall and The Chamber of Commerce are also very involved with the many events in the Crested Butte area – some of the events they are responsible for hosting include the Chili & Beer Festival, The Crested Butte Bike Week – including the famous The Chainless Bike Race, 4th of July Parade and events, The Taste of Crested Butte in June.

If you are considering moving to Crested Butte – there are many resources on the website and in the Visitors Center – Area Statistics, demographics, info about business licensing, jobs, schools, local governments and more.

For businesses the Chamber is a great resource for local businesses.  Some of the many benefits include the Member Directory and website presence and listings and links, map listing, referrals in the Visitor Center, Business After Hours events, seminars, Season pass discounts, business of the year recognition and much more.

Probably one of the most asked questions – is where is that big elk?  Well it is located in the Chamber – the Former World Record Elk was killed here in 1899 by John Plute of Crested Butte.

The Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce is another organization that makes Crested Butte Colorado a special place.  Coined “The last great Colorado Ski Town” Crested Butte offers a variety in Performing and Visual Arts, Recreation, Beauty, a warm community, a Historic Downtown, and a great Ski Resort.  Many families have selected Crested Butte as their choice to own a second home – there are many options and great values in the Crested Butte Real Estate market.
