The “New” Club at Crested Butte Ski Club
Wow! The Club at Crested Butte Slopeside Club (changing name to The Club at Crested Butte Ski Club) is now over 11,000 square feet, and covers 3 floors!
There has been a total renovation that added more lockers, more lounge space, more bathrooms, a conference room, kitchen, dining room and bar area. The quality of the finish-out is first class.
The facility is in an awesome location at the base area – primo ski-in / ski-out.
But best of all are the services and amenities. There is a private parking lot for members that eliminates the hassle of parking and walking or taking the bus.
The Club at Crested Butte Ski Club also provides ski storage – and attendants who will put your skis outside and at the end of the day put the skis back for you. No more do you have to cram your skis into your own locker and get your skis to and from the slopes. When you enter The Club at Crested Butte Ski Club, you sign-in and the attendant will have your skis ready for you after you go to your locker and get your ski clothes on…

In addition to the great amenities and services of the Club at Crested Butte Ski Club the goal is to make the experience easy and seamless… You can coordinate getting your lift tickets, coordinate lessons, and rentals. The Ski Club facility offers a significant enhancement to Golf and Sport Memberships and the facility in Skyland. On July 15, 2013 construction began and the on-mountain amenity began a major expansion and redesign with many upgrades. This three-story facility offers Members extensive amenities: 120 oversize lockers, private parking directly behind the facility, a lounge area and a slope side patio with fire pit. A concierge service is on site daily to service the Members needs including discount ski rentals, lodging reservations, ski instructor consultation, activity recommendations, social and dining reservations. The Club at Crested Butte Ski Club also offers Members a full social calendar including cat skiing trips, torc
hlight parade viewings, snow shoe tours, snowmobiling, football parties, concert viewings, mountain biking and hiking. The The Club at Crested Butte Ski Club is a great amenity for families with kids and grandkids – the logistics are soooo much easier!

Mike Swan, Director of the Ski Club facility, and PGA Head Golf Professional – The Club at Crested Butte. Mike is both an excellent skier and golfer. Having been a Ski Instructor for many years here in Crested Butte. As well Mike Swan started his golf career at the prestigious Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, where he worked for several President’s Cups. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, Mike moved west to Crested Butte to pursue a dream of skiing and working in the golf industry and was able to accomplish both.
The Club at Crested Butte Membership Information
Membership – at its inception and up until about 8 years ago it was required to purchase real estate in the Skyland Subdivision in order to become a member of the Club – this is no longer the case. There are many members who own property in the Crested Butte Real Estate market – but outside of Skyland. Memberships can include Golf, Tennis, or Fitness & Swimming and these rates are not published as requested by the Club – see membership contact info below.
