Crested Butte Christmas and Holiday Events

Crested Butte Christmas & Holiday Events

People often ask me – are there any fun Crested Butte Christmas & Holiday Events?  Where can you go to Christmas Eve service? What do you do in Crested Butte for Christmas and over the holidays?  Ha! Keep reading…

Crested Butte has been named “The Last Great Colorado Ski Town” and the charm and character of the town shines through the many events throughout Christmas & New Years (and the Winter Ski Season)!

I did my best to compile a list and break it down so you can plan accordingly – I will update this – let me know if I missed anything and if there are any corrections…

Crested Butte SantaWhat is a Crested Butte Christmas and Holiday Event?

This is a good question – there are official events, and unofficial events. Many CB events you may be encouraged to dress-up. Some events require registration, or an entry fee of some amount to participate – others you just show-up, or make a decision to not show-up and participate (but maybe just watch).

Some events are competitions and there will be extremely competitive uber athletes who go out first, and then there are the people who dress-up in clunky fun costumes who may bring up the rear…

See My Top Fun Crested Butte Winter Ski Season Events List (below the Christmas and Holiday events) you should not miss, and a fairly complete compilation list of Crested Butte Winter Ski Season Events by month.  Okay – here we go…
