“Awesome” is how most describe Izzy’s restaurant in Historic Downtown Crested Butte. This is one of my families favorites – and my kids love coming to Izzy’s – you will too. This is truly a Crested Butte classic for breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced and friendly service. If you’re really hungry, you’ve got to try the pancakes or try the traditional breakfast with latkes, pierogis or order specialty items off the menu. Great coffee, fresh bagels, great fresh food. The owner Craig and his crew, provide great attention to detail and service. There is typically a line, and once you place your order, find a seat – this is a small place, with limited seating. If there is an open chair or two at a table – it is customary to sit down and socialize. You may wait a bit for your food to be prepared – but it is worth the wait.
Izzy’s is located on the alley just off Elk Avenue between 2nd & 3rd, behind the Post Office and the Brick Oven in downtown Crested Butte, CO.
They are open from 7ish am to 1 or 2ish pm, seven days a week. You won’t leave hungry!
