My Favorite Local Stores In Crested Butte

There are so many great stores here in Crested Butte. If you are looking for a shopping day, check out some of my favorites below! I have listed a few boutiques my wife and daughters love, my favorite fishing store and some kid stores! A great place to check out shopping is on Elk Avenue, as all listed below are found there:

Boutiques And Other Clothing Stores

Favor The Kind

This boutique is located in the heart of Crested Butte on Elk Ave. They actually were first called The Gypsy Wagon. Here you will find clothing, gifts and home decor. You can also find funny gifts, dog items and baby apparel here. They are very friendly at the store and strive for the joy of their customers! Check out their website here!

Retail Therapy

Another boutique located on Elk Avenue. You will find many clothing options and jewelry here. Check out their affordable prices. Give them a call at 970-349-6824.

Casa Bella

If you are looking for a place to find mountain home decor or gifts, Casa Bella is the place to go. Fill up gift baskets here or find an assortment of candles to add to your home in Crested Butte. You can also find custom bedding here! Check out their website here!

Lavish

Lavish is a very unique boutique that offers many accessories. You can find Vera Bradley here, locally made bracelets and JellyCat stuffed animals! Most of these products are unique, so check out Lavish if you are looking for something that someone else might not have the state over! Here’s the link to their Facebook.

Milky Way

Milky Way is another unique boutique on Elk. Providing clothing and jewelry, you can be sure to find something for work or a casual day. They can help assist you in coordinating an outfit here and want to help you! You can find brands like Echo, Michael Stars, XCVI, Chalet, Cino, etc. See their website here.

The Mountain Store

If you want to dress like a local or wear mountain style attire, go to The Mountain Store. They have a huge selection of men and womens clothes here and have great options for a Crestd Butte winter. Check out their website here. 

The Outdoors

Dragonfly Anglers

My absolute favorite fly fishing store. This store sells guidebooks, tshirts, fishing equipment and lots more! If you’re a fisher, you NEED to check this place out. They also offer a year round fishing guide service. They want you to be successful on the water. On top of that they are a premium patagonia dealer. Check out what they have in their store and what type of guided services they have here!

Chopwood Mercantile

Another great outdoors store. From Icebreaker to hydroflast and patagonia, this store offers an array of great brands. You can also find some great gift options. Inventory is always changing here so check out their site to see what’s currently there. You can even view their live webcam footage of Elk Avenue right outside their store!

For The Kids

Poohs Corner

A town favorite. This locally owned toy store has toys, games, stuffed animals. The list goes on and on. It is truly the town’s toy store. Lots of options for kids here! Check out their Facebook here. 

Pfister’s handworks

This store is located in the same building as Poohs Corner and has EVERYTHING. Toys, games, art supplies and souvenirs are just a few things you can find here. Another place to find great gifts. Check out the homemade jewelry too. See their Facebook here.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

You may have heard of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory as they are a chain, but they sure offer some great chocolate and ice cream. Stop in and enjoy some fudge, truffles or my personal favorite, their caramel apples. Check out their website here.

Crested Butte Shops

Many of these stores offer things for the whole family, but you can get an idea of what each has in their stores. Shop local and check my favorite local stores in Crested Butte! Crested Butte and Elk Avenue has a lot to offer.
